RiverCross intends that Jesus Christ is first and foremost our leader in every step we take. Therefore, we strive to be careful in discerning God’s next steps as well as nimble in pursuing God’s way forward.

> CORE TEAM
RiverCross follows a presbyterian organizational form in which leadership is shared and mutually accountable. We favor this approach so that no one person or group has ultimate decision-making power and we benefit from a variety of voices as we discern God’s way together. In this presbyterian form of governance, the lay leadership of the church partner with the pastor and congregation and are accountable to the presbytery (group of churches in a larger, local area). The Core Team is an intentionally small group of 7 dedicated people who meet regularly to discern specific ways in which God is leading the church to–as we say all the time–step in to relationships with Jesus as we worship, connect, and serve.
